Now available to order....next year's WWI and WWII GHOSTS calendars....expected to be dispatched before the end of the month. Featuring plenty of photographs taken in New Zealand skies in the WWI calendar too! I've already ordered mine from HERE.

I wait until January, wander down to my local Westfield mall and buy it each year for 50% off. I enjoy the annual game of 'spot the Kiwi based or restored aircraft'

Yeah, well those of us living in New Zealand who aren't cheapskates, and who pre-ordered the 2017 GHOSTS calendars before they were printed, the calendars turned up in the mail last weekend (delivered to the door by Courier Post). As already noted, plenty of photographs taken in New Zealand skies in the WWI calendar. And for the third year in a row, I got a hand-written thank-you note from “the man” with my calendars. I seem to always run into him on the way home from Warbirds over Wanaka on a Queenstown to Wellington flight the day after Easter Monday. On one occasion I was seated in an adjacent seat next to Phil, and two years later, I was seated just across the aisle. He always remembers who I am.

Cool story bro Personally I like to buy things to use straight away but each to their own. Ooh and I bought them in January when I lived in NZ too, the horror

My mum and dad always bought me Ghosts for Christmas each year and I took it to work. Actually looking at it now. When dad went mum retained the tradition. Now that she is gone I still get it plus Ghosts WW.I and also the Flying Legends. My boss always takes an interest every 1st of the month. Nice just to look and see each new one. Sacrilege to look at one in the shops before Christmas and see what's coming.....

I received the 2018 GHOSTS calendars in the mail on Saturday.
As usual, TVAL aeroplanes feature prominently in the WWI calendar (mostly over Wairarapa), including the LVG and the BE.12
The WWII calendar features Brendon Deere's Mk.IX Spitfire and the Hood-based Corsair, with both of them stunning aerial shots photographed in the Wanaka area.
