For some years I have had Frederick McFarlane and James McFarlane on the Wings Over Cambridge website, however it is only this afternoon when re-examining the two pages have I realised that they were brothers. This is because the original info I had on Fred, from the local museum, had his name spelled as MacFarlane, and the two pages were generated many years apart so I'd never twigged they should be side by side on the alphabetical list till now. I spotted that they have the same parents, and the penny dropped. So in looking at the two pages I noted I don't have much info on either of them. And I realised some of the info on Fred's page was actually attributed wrongly and should have been on James's page. This makes me wonder if the original info from the museum was accurate at all, and was Fred McFarlane ever in the RNZAF? Here is what I have on them: www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/Fred%20McFarlane.htmwww.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/J_W_McFarlane.htmlAny info would be gratefully accepted.

No record of a Fred (or Frederick) McFarlane in the wartime RNZAF. Errol

Thanks Errol, he must be a red herring. I'll remove his page from the site tomorrow.
