Beat me to it Dave, I was about to update with poster and times. The two (longer) slots last time didn't work as well I thought - harder to keep a good pace up in the environment. Worth trying out, however.

Hope the forecast improves! I might go to Cambridge on Saturday instead, as I haven't been the last three years.

Hope the forecast improves! "What do you get after two days of rain? Monday!" Rings very true at the moment.

Prepare to be disappointed. Why do you think I haven't been for a bit? Some Waikato green will be nice before I have a week in the brown blandness that is Melbourne.

It's most certainly green and lush here at the moment.

Metvew is showing rain coming but it looks like it will be clear of Auckland by Sunday morning. However I was told this morning high wind is expected this weekend. What do you all think? Will the weather be flyable?

Would it help if I talked about the current weather situation in South Taranaki? I'm sure it's relevant.

Is that from TVAL or is it Mr Orphan's?

That's definitely not TVAL.
It looks like the black DR.1 from Omaka.

Per NZCivAir, it is ZK-FKD, which is still listed as Classic Aircraft Sales Ltd (Mr Orphan).

I think from the wording on Facebook a sale has probably taken place regarding the Fokker.
More importantly, how is the Auckland weather looking? The predicted heavy rain has not eventuated here in Cambridge yet but it's getting very ominous out there right now and I'd say it will get here very soon.
Sadly it looks like I won't be making it to Ardmore now anyway.

We haven't had any rain in One Tree Hill, looks like it has been further east. Forecast is looking hopeful, but the wind might be an issue - at least the direction is fairly friendly.

Fokker and B.E.2 scheduled for 2nd slot, but Fokker has been pushed down by the taxiway. Considering getting it up before the wind picks up? Otherwise very pleasant, a cooling breeze will be nice later.

Ryan S will display the Fokker today. Wind is staying light, so looking good!

Nice little display of B.E.2 and Fokker. Photos when I have a spare half hour. Given there is a work meet and greet after my workshop on Monday, this might not be until Tuesday or Wednesday.
