Brent was very well known for the propellers he made. Very much a work of art. Anthony Galbraith commissioned him to overhaul the prop that was once on one of the Hong Kong Austers. This then became mine when Anthony found a new old stock prop. Brent by then couldn't do the actual work himself but had a friend do the physical work under his supervision. I visited a few times to see progress and met his Mum and see the aircraft taking shape. I wonder if I could be as brave as he seemed to be while this horrible disease robs him of his body. Certainly one of the good ones that we will lose to soon. And his Mum is equally amazing stepping up to see the project finished.
