Maybe you feel justified in regularly mouthing your dissatisfaction with another land's political figurehead. Personally, I tire of it and find it disrespectful to this forum, not to mention in breach of one of its cardinal rules. Moderators, what do you think?

Everything about Trump and his politics is tiresome. However this is about aviation so does not actually breach any rules I'm afraid. It would be nice to have a lot less posts about him though, please.

Fine keep to the "aviation" part of the topic and shed the "idiot" personal opinion.

I am sure we have many foreign members on this board. Dave will have a good idea, or possibly even know for sure. I can think of many nationalities that have contributed here in recent months alone. I ended up doing PM's with a new member just yesterday. Brian asking about Tomahawk paint schemes is from Argentina. I am always a little uneasy with forums that lampoon the head of another state, - especially that of a 'friendly' one. For some reason the North Korean ones don't worry me so much though. Perhaps we should consider the thoughts and feelings of those other members here. Just remember some of these guys are already suffering the misfortune of living somewhere other than 'Godzone'. Some believe 2018 is going to be the year of the 'hurty feelings'. Just remember I am easily offended ! Generation snowflake......

You are absolutely correct, there are members and readers from virtually every country in the world here. I have corresponded with many of them off-forum from a huge variety of countries. I have even personally met forum members from places like France, Germany, UK, Aussie, etc, who read here every day. And I can assure you that there are loads, hundreds, of US citizens following this forum.

Although I am guilty of expressing disdain for the current US regime, I do feel the same way, although if we are going to say let's not do it, then we have to include North Korea, too, otherwise it's hypocritical.

I agree but then again we may not have too many North Korean forum members here. I am not suggesting we as individuals do posts mocking the fellow but we probably never get much of an opportunity to see much positive. As I age I am getting grumpy, I accept that...... I just have this thing about the media these days. I just can't believe we are getting unbiased reporting. I can tell what will be on the TV 'News' without even watching. Every night without fail they follow the same topics with a 'story' (Yep, they call them that) associated with each one and a soundbite interview reinforcing the message. I think that is the reason we are tiring of the reporting.
Interestingly enough I have heard that the US President has picked up on this and is just winding them up. If that is indeed the case then great, - bring it on !! Surely there can't be too many people on this forum tweeting about their latest shoes or coffee. We are still sane aren't we ? I just wish we would hear it as it is.... the important stuff I mean. Not the Kardashian's breakfast. Jeeez, the TV news is even including tweets in the reporting........ which takes us back to the start here..
