Hi everyone- just adding on to the thread above re my father Squadron Leader DHPALMER 41545. May be putting this around the wrong way but does anyone know much about No. 2472 Squadron. My reading of overseas groups and articles suggests this may have been DHPs squadron. Any thoughts ?
Would have landed on Juno Beach with the Canadians and a ton of equipment including mobile Oboe Units. Just trying to research this idea here.
