Gipps Loses a GA10 during Flight Testing

During flight testing the Pilots took to their chutes and left the aircraft to it over Mojave (apparently they ejected, oh hum).


I wonder what they were testing. I know California Highway Patrol interested in using the GA10 and the install of their kit in the GA8 were done in the USA.

I seem to recall a test pilot in early GA 8 trials in Australia took to his 'chute too

In that case I understand it was a spin chute issue during certification testing for the airframe.

The GA10 is certified, although apparently they were testing a cargo pod.



I wouldn't hold my breath Zac, they are being nickle and dimed by the parent company, who don't want to fund their aspirations.
