OK, I have given this some thought, and I'd like to make a special episode of the WONZ Show devoted to young people in New Zealand Aviation, the future. I might even make it the special 200th episode. So I'd like to meet and interview young people in NZ aviation. I am thinking anyone out there aged 21 or younger who has a passion for aviation.
So I'm interested in interviewing: - young trainee pilots at a flying school, aero club or other - young trainee or apprenticed aeronautical engineers - Air Training Corps cadets - young Air Force personnel in the RNZAF - students in a school aircraft building programme - any young folks who perhaps are in an aviation family where they have grown up surrounded by aviation thanks to parents and maybe grandparents being in aviation - Anyone else that you can suggest who might be good to talk with
It would also be good to talk with older people who devote their time and energy to helping youth achieve their aviation dreams, whether it's with Young Eagles or the ATC or other programmes.
If any of these categories sound like you, or you can suggest people for me to approach, please email me at dave_daasnz@hotmail.com
Also feel free to share this post around please. Cheers, Dave Homewood

Well I have been very pleased so far with the feedback to this post here and on the WONZ Show Facebook page. I already have a load of very interesting younger folk lined up to interview, and also a few people who run youth flying programmes too. I'll be interviewing at least three of them later this week. And there are a number more lined up for a later date. Thanks to all who have rallied with ideas and offers. I think this will prove to be a really interesting and worthwhile project.
