I haven't watched it and it's been up for less than 15min, but Kermit's shared a video of him visiting his Vought OS2U Kingfisher project at Pioneer in April 2017:

A case of the golden rule - the man with the gold makes the rules.
Wont that be a sight in see sometime in the future.

I love the discussion on value, is a Kingfisher worth the same as a P40? Not to me but to Kermit it is! Bravo!
I am guessing from the stage the restorations are at and comments this was taken around his visit 2 years ago for Classic Fighters?

April 2017, per the original post, and the start of the video.
Cost, price, value. Three related but different things! The man who will be sending the invoices doing some expectation management, good business practice.

As Paul points at a picture of a Kingfisher, "What's the value in that, Kermit?" "It's frickin' awesome!" - possibly my favourite line from any Kermie Cam!

Please note, in case you have seen the video, the United Stats (Army) Air Corps did not build Ardmore airfield, nor did it build or supply any hangars, it was all built for the US Navy by NZers (although the Americans may have supplied some specifications originally). Where do these people get all these peculiar stories? David D
