A bit of a rare bird and $$! A Rockwell Aero Commander 560. I'm trying to make it a 500 and probably put it in either Air North or Geyserland markings as ZK-CWP. Its not a bad model in resin at 1/72, very detailed...it has its vices though! The manufacturer gave me 2 right handed nacelles! The vac form canopy does not fit well, however fortunately a 2nd was provided & filler seems to stick to it! I've used 2 bladed props (spares from Khe-Kha Cessna 185s) instead of regular 3 bladers. Have always liked the Aero Commander in all its guises from my first sight in the "Observer's Book of Aircraft"......now that's a long time ago.

Yep, its Douglas A-26 (Invader) parentage is plain for all to see! David D

Thought it was more A-20 Boston/Havoc ?

Take your pick, this character (aircraft's designer) had a hand in them both, as well as the type under discussion! However the more square-cut wings and tail surfaces are definitely more reminiscent of the A-26 in my eyes. David D
