There is just over a week now till this show. Who's going? I hope to be there although my best mate who I was going to go with has just pulled out so I need to find an alternate ride now.

Hi Dave

We literally got a few drops. The show was good but not to the same standard as previous years I feel. This is not meant to be criticism but just my own personal view. If it was not for the Black Falcons the airshow would actually have been mediocre. The chap doing the commentary (hope he is not on this list) was not up to scratch. At times he was irritating as hell.

Interesting to note that the left undercarriage of #78 did not retract when it took off. It completed a circuit and then came into land, with both wheels down, fortunately. She did not participate in any further flying on the day. Does anybody know what the issue was?

The Hunter looks like it needs a "cut and polish" to restore the colour scheme, it certainly didn't look like that when I used to see it at Tengah in the early 1970s
