I remember seeing troops abseiling out of one at Whenuapai pre-ANZUS break-up.

The US Government Auction website shows this one has done just under 8000 hours service and looks like the wining bid was just over one million US Dollars. US Government General Services Auctions I don't know what an equivalent civilian machine might be or what that might be worth, but I guess the buyers are thinking it's a good deal. Any suggestions on paint scheme for civvy use? Do they take the advice of The Rolling Stones and just eponomously "Paint it Black"

Despite being at Ardmore all day yesterday and today I still haven't actually seen it. Maybe tomorrow!

Quite a few pics at NZ Civil Aircraft (link)and MRC Aviation (link). Amazingly - to me, anyway - on Tuesday night I was wondering when delivery would be! I was very surprised to see the Facebook posts the next day. Great news for the company as it sounds like it's been long in the works (from memory news of the acquisition was about a year ago) and I hope all runs smoothly.

The Kahu team have kept everyone updated with the comings and goings of N160PA via Facebook. The Hawk has already been hard at work slinging cabins And making a trip up Mt Ruapehu for gondola pylons It’s amazing to think there was a Black Hawk within a couple of hours drive of me!

I've got some photos of the Blackhawk's departure from Ardmore. I'll post them later as I'm a little busy right now, if anyone's interested that is.

Hi all, I'm sorry that I didn't follow through with my statement, I've just been having some issues with Flickr, and seeing as it's end of term NCEA is keeping me very busy. So hopefully next week I can give y'all some nice Blackhawk photos.

A Facebook post this morning alerted me to the fact the Black Hawk is now ZK-HKU and has been since January 13 this year! She’s registered as an EH-60A.
