A like story of the description of a battle such as Long Tan is the story that dates back many centuries of the blind men describing an elephant, read about it in Wiki. Each man is partly correct, and all of them are wrong. If you ask a rugby team of rugby players about an incident that happened during the game(and they have not conversed with others), you will get 15 different ideas of what happened.isc

I concur. Spread the word. A visceral account with a little dramatic licence that pulls no punches in telling an authentic account as possible of this event. Coming to General release at Hoyts on 5 September.

Looks like the release date in NZ is later this week, the 5th. I went and saw it at my local cinema on Saturday with my youngest lad. Its been playing here in Perth for the past couple of weeks & I expected I could arrive just in time & get a good seat (hate those annoying ads!) Wrong - it was nearly a full house and with a bit of juggling we still got good seats & thoroughly enjoyed the film. Highly recommended

Another war movie to watch out for is '1917', due mid-January.
