I'm on the hunt for a couple of photos to confirm specific details for BRF.
1. I need a starboard side shot of one of the aircraft wearing the later version of the early colour scheme. At this stage the anti-glare panel has a white surround between it and the red and white window cheat line and the fin and rudder has adopted the two red line (one thick one thin) marking not the original single tapered line. This will place the photo timewise to after the arrival of the Friendships. Specifically I'm trying to confirm if at this stage of their life the a/c still had the aerial cable running from the fin to a simple mast that was mounted off the starboard side of the cockpit bulge.
2. The second need is for a top of wing shot at any stage of the aircrafts' lives that clearly shows the black walkway markings that ran along the top of the spar from near the fuselage out to the break point of the two wing sections and certainly ran forward from there down to the wing leading edges each side of the engine installations but did they also run rear of the spar? Hopefully someone took a shot looking out the window on a flight.
We've some copies of the original paint scheme documents but they don't cover point 2.
cheers
