For what it's worth, I enjoyed seeing her in NAC colours about twenty years ago.
Jeez. Was it really about twenty years ago?

That will look nice but isn't it a bit bizarre to paint your aircraft from your own corporate scheme into the colours once used by the opposition?

I assume that AirNZ would have to give permission if they want to use the NAC name or logo? They could use the scheme but their name and logo?

A re-NAC’d ZK-AWP passed over our house half an hour ago, having just taken off from our airport. Lovely!

I am amazed they have gone for that colour scheme, and were allowed to use it too, but it looks terrific!

Sad that it's heading to Wanganui the weekend of the Tauranga airshow, I was hoping we'd see it there.

I am hoping that when AWP is at NZPP to get a shot of it taking off with the large hangar in the background as I have a 1949 photo of ZK-AQP taking off with the old hangar as the backdrop. It will be a great contrast of "NZNAC" operations at NZPP 70 years apart

If all goes to plan AWP will ferry from Mangere to Tauranga departing about 4pm today to do a late afternoon scenic, followed by two more on each of Saturday and Sunday.
