Final assembly was probably helped by the fact that I had already assembled and surfaces sanded back many of the components back in early January Zac. It's true there are probably fewer 'parts' than a standard injection moulded kit however 3D printing allows far more detail with fewer parts.

Thanks guys! Harry that's interesting to know....I am leaning more and more to getting him to print me one in 32nd now. One? I think you'll need five - so you can model the ex-RAF desert scheme, the white and blue VIP scheme, the green-green-brown scheme, the green-green-grey scheme, and the white UN scheme. Of you did choose just one, which colour scheme would you go for?

Harry, you definitely should mate! I sent a link from LSP already.
Dave, I honestly don't know mate. I will probably pass on the UN scheme and the first desert one(maybe lol) but I am leaning toward the VIP or Green and brown....however the 2 greens and grey are tempting still! LOL
Keep up the great work Harry

My favourite has always been the camouflage with the green, green and grey (Euro 1 scheme I think they called it?). They looked the business. Although the passenger transport version with the white and blue over grey did look really dignified to.

Great photos, Dave. The first one of NZ7621 looks like that was taken outside the main hangar at Brize Norton.

Now that little scene brings back fond memories of a 1988 trip to Queenstown via Mt Cook in ZK-DES

here we go again...Building another 748 in early MCA colours for a customer Been spending a couple of COVID evenings idly wet & dry sanding... I have just closed it up (props temporarily fitted). I used my own methodology for the cockpit glazing this time, it should work quite a bit better than the first attempt... IMG_1646 by Harry Follas, on Flickr IMG_1647 by Harry Follas, on Flickr
