My Mum recorded this sometime in the late 1980s. It's a short piece about legendary Kiwi helicopter pilot Bill Black and his transporting kakapo using Aerospatiale AS350 Squirrel ZK-HMY.
I don't know what show this is from nor when it was broadcast and would be grateful for any information so I can update the video description.

It was a show called "That's Fairly Interesting", hence her reference to TFI. It was on TV back in 1987-1989, and starred Phil Gifford (as seen at the beginning), Tim Shadbolt, Phil Keoghan, the late Neil Roberts, and of all people Sue Kedgley who went on to be a Green MP. But I think that reporter was Gloss star Kerry smith, wasn't it?

You need to clean your video heads Zac. Agreed. Unfortunately for some reason this recording has always had an issue - the nasty burst of static and sound at around 35s has been part of the tape for as long as I can remember.
