When I was volunteering at the Air Force Historic Centre (before it became the Museum)in 7 hangar(which these aircraft are parked beside)one of the other volunteers Dennis Pett once got onto the base in the 50s and was busy taking photos with his camera. He got nabbed, his camera confiscated and his parents called! Suitably told off by everybody, military and parents he got his camera back.......minus the film! That's some nice clear footage. Those Neptunes are quite imposing in that dark blue and orange. The Globemasters are just massive!
The Auster should be recognised for what it is: a gentleman's aerial touring carriage and a nice aeroplane.
