NZ2406 (I think that's the right number) It is. Anyone out there who'd be up for a syndicate maybe?

I know Bob............perhaps a word to his relatives........was a really nice guy. His place is in Kindred, North Dakota. I drove a pick-up full of Mustang parts there years ago from Gerry Beck's Tri-State Aviation in Wahpeton North Dakota. To get to his hangar....and into the airport generally, you have to drive through the cemetery

Little Rebel and Sweet And Lovely. Both painted as the ones the Portillo twins flew.

Sorry, I misunderstood your observation Dave. Read it as both Odegaard Mustangs were ex RNZAF, thus I was wondering what their serials were

Correct. Doug Hamilton has bought Dove of Peace and it will be heading to Wangaratta.

Again, any more details? Getting updates onto NZDF Serials is hard enough already.

I'm a little surprised at the lack of any comment about what is coming back over the Tassie in return for the Mustang's departure. I'm looking forward to the two classic aircraft coming this way.

Yes the Lockheed is a real classic, and the Staggerwing will be welcome back on our shores too.

I'm excited to see AMU again, and to reacquaint myself with the Lockheed 12 as a type. Some very good news indeed!

I'm looking forward to seeing AMU again as well, having seen it quite a few times at Ardmore. My only exposure to a Lockheed Model 12 is the one that Pat Donovan brought to NZ which I saw twice, once at Ardmore and again at Omaka. I'd love to see the 12 in formation with Rob Mackley's Lockheed 10. Sorry, I'm getting a bit off topic now.......
