It did not perform aerobatics with a "live' passenger, only a dummy. However Drone Champions founder, Herbert Weirather, has been aboard when the craft was flown a few metres off the ground

I can see it now.
Passenger: "Oi! I've been hanging upside down now for almost a minute. Can you flip me upright?" Pilot standing on the ground. "After I have a coffee."

Well that certainly looks to be an amazing craft, and obviously some very clever young people (and they sound quite a bit international to me, which is no bad thing) involved there, but it seems that they only have the vague idea that everybody should be able to learn to fly by whatever means. Guess they cannot get insurance for passengers in this one, judging by their care not to do anything too crazy with humans aboard. Where will they all be in 5 years time - they may be famous! David D

I guess that, with the concept now proven, the next 'exciting' thing in the development of such devices, will be 'self-piloting' drones; flown / controlled by the person in the cockpit...
Oh, wait, aren't they known as 'Microlights'?
The phrase 'Re-inventing the wheel' did come to mind...

Manned drone is an oxymoron, like military intelligence.
