Hi all, Today marks the 41st anniversary of the first flight of the prototype NZAI Cresco ZK-LTP, flown by John l Muir with Pat Monk aboard as observer. Unfortunately the flight ended early and unplanned in a Cambridge paddock after a loose hopper fairing led to a fuel leak, and the aircraft went on to be lost in a crash on 10 December 1979 (pilot Ralph Etheridge bailed out) but she laid the ground work for the 37 improved aircraft which followed. And we have the prospect of a further improved Cresco II returning to production soon. Who has photos, memories or (big dream here) film/video of s/n001 ZK-LTP they'd like to share?
