The guys at Sovereign Colourcoats won’t ship it’s paints overseas unless you a wholesaler, but Glen at Creative Models in Sydney is our local man for Australia/ New Zealand for the these paints. www.creativemodels.com.au/index.shtmlThese paints are the bees knees, I can’t fault them and I have using them for my RN/ Commonwealth and DKM Model Ships.

Just a quick radio check, just to prove I haven’t kicked the bucket just yet.
Did you have any luck at sourcing any Sovereign Colourcoats paints from Glen at Creative Models in Sydney? Been admiring your Sth Pacific diorama process and it’s look great. Have to send the link to mums email so she can have sort of an understand what it could’ve look like for Uncle Neville in the Solly’s during the War.
Anyway keep up the good.

Did you have any luck at sourcing any Sovereign Colourcoats paints from Glen at Creative Models in Sydney? I don't want to speak for 30sqnatc but I just visited Creative Models' site and they do indeed have the BALM paints from Sovereign! www.creativemodels.com.au/shopmastery.php?cat1=SOVEREIGN+COLOUR+COATS&cat2=14ML&cat3=AIRCRAFT&cat4=RNZAFVery good news as my own attempts at Blue Sea Grey turned out rather bright and not at all acceptable! I really need to get some. As an aside, folk at Britmodeller have always had nothing but positive comment for Sovereign paints - especially when it comes to naval vessels, they always seem to be the most recommended option.

Unfortunately no. I was just about to order when COVID19 blew international postage to smithereens. I'm now nearly one month into wait for last model purchase to arrive from Aussie and two months for a parcel from Japan.

I'm now nearly one month into wait for last model purchase to arrive from Aussie and two months for a parcel from Japan. Tell me about it, I was meant to head back down to Sydney for another inpatient hospital visit as I lost,y marbles again when Covid19 shut the joint, but I was reading to the NT mob have put the whole of metro Sydney on the travel ban list now. So looks like I’m up shit creek again. I’m been plugging away on an awful slow Carrier build atm which I started back in November at the start of the buildup, which has been made worst with Covid19 (probably should’ve finished a couple of ships first) as need another set of small ship boats and possibly I may have to build a complete new main mast and aft mast as it has a different radar set when she came out of refit in the US late 41- very early 42. PE and the ships small boats are on order and for arrival in Darwin is how is a piece of string. As for some for the books I’ve order, I’m still waiting for one since the outbreak hit the UK. I see work and Ronnie has kept you busy of late?

Ah, I didn’t know you were lurking over at Britmodeller Zac, but mind you I don’t travel very far out of their Model Ship threads and occasionally I would pop in to the dioramas , the What if thread and the Trains thread. Have seen some of your What If’s on another site, when I look for some ideas for British Commonwealth Common Defence Arrangement was built around a Commonwealth common market in the 1970’s with a Far East Commonwealth Fleet based out Singers, the RAN’s Fleet Base West & East, Manus Is and the RNZN Base Devonport Devonport with detachments In Fiji and Port charmers Dunedin Once you start using Sovereign Colourcoats mate, there is no longer back as they kick ass over every other paint in the market and it’s built around good Solid research. Jamie who is one of the joint owners provides very good customer service considering Sovereign Colourcoats is not is main work, but a hobby.

Paints arrived today. 34 days from posting so not too bad but it definitely suggests an earlier order from BNA post 62 days ago that they believed was delayed due to COVID19 is not going to arrive.

34 days? So standard postage service from Aussie has resumed then.

That sounds more like express service. I think AusPost have a built in standard delay of 34 days, if they don't manage to lose it first.

Well a set of 1/48 Hudson painting masks from BNA arrived on Saturday posted just under 70 days ago and a week after they refunded me. I've done the right thing and repaid them.
