The DH89 at Hokitika is DH89A Dragon Rapide ZK-AHS with a DH89B Dominie with its tail in the hangar... Great photos

I would think it is most likely a visitor from FEAF going by the colour scheme. The RAF had 48 Squadron(with Hastings)based at RAF Changi in the early 60's and they visited NZ from time to time. I think they were C Mk 1 or maybe Mk 2's. The RNZAF model was the C Mk IV from memory and considered the "Rolls Royce"version by the RAF chaps I knew.
