I've been interested to see some coverage in the media of the aircraft, some of which are strangers to New Zealand skies, that have brought Kiwis home from the farthest corners of the globe & also taken visitors to our shores to their homes. I'd love to see photos of some of these & realise that with travel restrictions getting out to the airports, mainly Akl & Chc, would have been a no no but I'm wondering if anyone with a reason to be there has any photos of these or links to any sites with them? I'm thinking mainly of the Lufthansa/Condor flights taking Germans home & Latam bringing Kiwis back from South America, these are the ones I've been aware of down in the provinces, what others were there? Any & all info appreciated. Steve.

Brilliant, thanks for that, I wasn't thinking outside the square I reckon, must be my brain in lockdown too. Some good shots on CHC Facebook page & their Twitter page too, Qatar Airways 777-300, Lufthansa 747-400 & 800, Austrian Airlines 777-300 & Condor 767-300, not usual liveries to see at Harewood. AFAIK Condor & Austrian are Lufthansa subsidiarys. Steve.

Interesting to see the specific flight numbers allocated 6011 and 1960 outside of the usual series for this leg and the lack of predestined gates allocated

Thanks Errrol. Brilliant footage in that vid, makes me proud to see those big Kiwi birds, and somewhat saddened to think of their wings being so severely clipped, at least in the foreseeable future, the next vid showing after that had ZK-ONO & OKQ departing Frankfurt after repatriation flights with some sombre shots toward the end of Lufthansa & Star Alliance aircraft being parked up with FOD covers on the engines. It'll be a while before we see the likes of these busy airport scenes again. Steve.
