This AgCub had a very short operational life, spanning just a few months.
Registered to Piper agents Airwork in January 1956, it then went into operational use with Aerial Farming of NZ Ltd. of Palmerston North.
However it crashed at Aukopae, near Taumarunui, on the 26th March while being flown by Eric Adam.
The big question - can anyone provide me with a photograph of ZK-BKL ?

Peter, I think the most likely source would be the archives of the late AHSNZ member Richard Soar of Piriaka, wherever those archives might be
I can think of another with a very short life - BRS, March - July 1957 55 hours total time but I seem to recall you posting a photo of her?

Oh not sure Dave but he owned the airstrip at Piriaka Taumarunui and contributed hugely to the AHSNZ Journal in the early 60s. GTW would know if he still hangs out here
Mentioned some time ago in the thread "Topdressing Super Cubs"

Last time I was in Taumarunui was 1969. When I work out of Piriaka Richard Soar Photographed every new pilot and the aircraft, The only person I know who might hae a photo of BRS would be Richmond Harding. I am living now in the Covid capital of Australia.
