Oh dear, I am embarrassed to report that I missed learning of this Dave due to delinquency in not doing a daily log on. Anyway, this is my favourite and only regular blog site. You richly deserved the award Sir. And I am particularly thankful for you doing such a good job in getting the Barry Jones 8mm colour film of the Sunderlands in Fiji uploaded for the world to enjoy. Your setting that to music was very poignant, especially to those who served in that era. Again, very well done Sir!

Thanks everyone. I had a fantastic day and evening on Friday at the Royal Aeronautical Society's symposium and awards dinner. It was a great honour to be presented my award by the outgoing National president, Des Ashton.

Better than being left right out!
