Today I had the great pleasure to interview Wing Commander Bob Henderson, RNZAF, rtd., about his service in the RNZAF, and particularly covering his time as the Commanding Officer of No. 40 Squadron RNZAF during the First Gulf War in 1990-1991. This episode will go live on the 17th of January 2021, to mark the 30th Anniversary of the beginning of Operation Desert Storm. This photo is of Bob and his crew in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm. No. 40 Squadron RNZAF Lockheed Hercules NZ7003 is behind them.
