Thanks for posting the clip, love the Skyhawks high alpha trying to fly slow enough for the Freighter. So did they really dead stick the Freighter for the landing or was this a little trickery? Also beautiful scenery looks like it is around Wanaka perhaps?

The 2 pilots of the Freighter were Gordon Thompson and my late brother Peter Johnson. Peter did most of the spectacular flying around the Southern Alps and also the sequences at Whenuapai with the dead stick landing and ground loop. The Canadian bush pilot who flew the camera plane(NOT the Bristol!) commented that " you guys are crazy!"My brother Pete was killed in a crash at Mangere when the Convair he was command captain on suffered a structural failure and crashed at the end of the runway. Strange that the accident report blames the pilots!!(there's a surprise.) He was one of the most talented and careful fliers I have ever known and is greatly missed.

Can you point me to it? I'm still getting the Not Found message, and the Corsair isn't listed in their inventory anymore. But you can get an Avenger turret for US$35,000....!
