Dave , Keiths operational/ post war log book was lost . I reconstucted his ops with 109 squadron for him from the sqyuadron ORBs but details of his Mosquito ferry flight to NZ ( recorded as RAF pilot ) and the trip in the Lancastrian was lost . However ther eis a film clip of the arrival in the NZ film archives. I copied a couple of stills but have now lost the link .

A little piece of local history regarding Nugget Cohen. This is Cohen Place in Nelson, off Bolt Road on the way to the airport from the north. The airport is to the left from this perspective. When RNZAF Nelson opened, this road was the only one to the airport, the current Quarantine Road didn't exist. Cohen Place is located where the RNZAF base accommodation block was, and to the right of the picture just in front of where the red car is parked, was the main entry gate to the air force site. where the 3 houses on the right are now used to be open park, directly under them was a very substantial concrete structure that was a large septic tank for the entire camp. Believe it was next to the road so it could be regularly pumped out.
