I am very interested in any logbook/information or images on my grandfather Ian Richmond. If anyone could send me any information or even copies I would be grateful. Or if you know someone that could help... I'm trying to do my family tree and know the history. Thanks Phil Richmond ritchybuilders@hotmail.com

I am very interested in any logbook/information or images on my grandfather Ian Richmond. If anyone could send me any information or even copies I would be grateful. Or if you know someone that could help... I'm trying to do my family tree and know the history. Thanks Phil Richmond ritchybuilders@hotmail.com Steve218 has one of his logbooks - rnzaf.proboards.com/thread/22523/squadron-leader-ian-richmond-dfcHi,
This New Zealander was serving with No.218 (Bomber) Squadron, No.75 Wing, AASF in France during 1940. I have a copy of his Log Book from March 1938 until January 23rd 1940 when he was involved in a crash. On return from a flight to Mourmelon Richmond overshot his landing due to flap failure crashing his Battle K9329 into a dispersed Battle K9327 damaging both aircraft in the process.
His log book stops on this day, my question is does anyone know how badly injured Richmond was, and if he was hospitalised, the ORB does not mention anything and he does not appear in the ORB until the squadron was back in England where in eventually completed his tour. ANY HELP appreciated, also does anyone have a photograph of this officer.
TIA
Steve
