I'm about to start an Airfix P-51D. Cockpit, fuselage and gear well colour is Humbrol 226, but I am unable to buy this locally and there is not a Tamiya equivalent. By looking through my stash I find Academy specify FS 34151 - which converts to Humbrol 150.
I don't want to be an Anorak but I'd like confirmation I'm using the right colour. What do others use?
Cheers, "chbeb"

I've just kicked off an Airfix P51D in 1/48 and acquired some Model Master Interior Green which has that FS number on the bottle. That is maybe cold comfort to you if you can't get hold of a Humbrol colour Model Master might be off the table too. I think Humbrol 150 will look too... green. Having said that, I have a strict "near enough is good enough" policy on my builds, so won't hold it against you if you use what you can get your hands on!

Just ordered some Model Master Interior Green (and other goodies to fill the parcel) from The Hobby Clearance Company ;-)
