Having a cleanout at home and have this ex-army (?) box that deserves a better home, I'm sure it has a more appropriate name, looks like it's original use was to keep radio aerial parts in. Hopefully you can get to the pics in the link below if not PM me and I can email them. I will be in Auckland July 10/11 if this helps get them to or along the path to a better home.
