I am so sad to read the brilliantly funny and clever British comedian Sean Lock has passed away, after a battle with cancer. He was always so good, doing stand up or on Qi or Eight Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown, etc.

That's sad... A big loss for his family, and for the rest of the world who only 'knew' him through his comedic talent. RIP

Yes massive loss, enjoy all of his endeavours and witty comedy. Might have to bing watch while “working from home”

We always watched 8/10 cats when he and Jon Richardson were on. Great talent from both.

Such a shock and a sad loss. A great talent I always enjoyed watching. As it turns out, he's one of those rare folk who planned ahead and wrote their own obituary...

Very sad news. However at least he went as Worlds best Carrot in a box player.

We always watched 8/10 cats when he and Jon Richardson were on. Great talent from both. I tried watching that, once. After less than 10 minutes I decided that doing the laundry would be far more interesting and entertaining.

I agree with Peter in that the British lavatory humour which pervaded the show was unsavory; however I enjoyed trying to get words from the letters and working out the maths puzzles on the show
