Slowly going through some old video footage I have had converted to digital format. This impressive RC Sunderland was actually transported to and from the island in a RAAF C130 Hercules, a long story!

That is a stunner, and the reflecting sun enhances it even more.

Very old footage so not the best quality wise, put a bit into editing this one, quite historic these days I guess, from what I have been told early 90's.

Few more of some of my old video tape footage from the 1990s. This lot from the Harvey Bay airshow up north of Brisbane.
Couple of the late Guido Zuccoli's gems, Fiat G59.
Guido's Boomerang was built in the States, this machine also flew at one of the early Omaka shows.
Here she is at Omaka with some other Ozzies.

More of my old video tape clips, quite a diverse batch this lot.
In 2002 the British Navy managed to park their ship HMS Nottingham on a rock off the east coast of the island. Two RNZN ships the Te Mana and Endeavour came to her aid.
Lynx, HS748 and C130J
Four DH Dash 8s in the ramp at one time made for some tricky parking and a bit of a reshuffle!
Couple more De Havilland's, Canada's ubiquitous Beaver.
And a DH Heron.
