Hi Chris, The piece in your pictures -153431 and -153441 is the emergency undercarriage extension ram for the Hudson so if you find a P/N on it it could be 55036 on the band or 55308 on the body case. Yours is extended but the at rest unit looks like this fyi When it deploys it strikes a pad mounted on the strut opposite (mounted by the bracket you see) with just enough power to start the gear lowering to the point where gravity and drag then do the rest. Pictures -154308 and -154329 are part of a ring baffle section of a firewall it looks like part of the Hudson's one but I can't track that number. I wonder about Harvard? cheers

The top photos look like a housing for a right-angled drive mechanism. Is there any shaft or gearing inside?

The top photos look like a housing for a right-angled drive mechanism. Is there any shaft or gearing inside? Nah no gears inside. The shaft with the square section machined on it is solidly fixed to the rest of the piece with rivits. No moving parts. The little loop or guide at the other end is weird, cable or spring attachment or guide?
