Has anyone read these books? Comments would be appreciated. Rabaul 1943-44: Reducing Japan's great island fortress: Mark Lardas. The Rabaul Trilogy by Bruce Gamble

I have heard that the Bruce Gamble books are excellent. I supplied him some info and photos for one of them on the prisoners discovered when the RNZAF team liberated Rabaul.
Mark Lardas (not Landas as you have written) is also a reputed historian. But I have personally not read any of the books.
