That's the way to do it.
Removal Most people hire a removal van when they want to move, but Mrs I. Brownley has hired a Bristol Freighter. Mrs Brownley, who is moving from Norfolk Island to Kaitaia, Northland, on Friday, intends to bring two cars, assorted household goods, and her husband on the flight. The plane has been hired by Air New Zealand and will be one of the few overseas flights to land at Kaitaia airport. It will take one day to load the aircraft at Norfolk Island.

I like the way that is worded. I wonder how her husband was consigned... freight or as a passenger...

Probably as "self loading freight".

And here I was, expecting current news of one of our surviving Freighters being transplanted! I thought I'd missed something big!

"Steerage Class" Which is how we went from Christchurch to Wellington to do the opening of parliament guard of honour in 1965 I think. In a half-basin shaped cabin where the rudder king post sleeve went through and the prop shaft was just below the floor. The noise and vibration was pretty bad. This was probably the Rangitira or Rangitane. They had beer on tap but it was not nice because they just topped up the tanks at each end. So you got a mixture of Christchurch Wards Crown and Wellingtons Red Band, both gross enough on their own without being mutually adulterated.

I am confused. What does your ship voyage have to do with this aircraft charter flight, OJ?

It's not that cryptic: "I wonder how her husband was consigned... freight or as a passenger..."
Steerage Class (passenger) is or was a genuine bottom-level travel ticket category on boats.
