Did any forumites attend? I've seen some truly incredible photos on Facebook of lines upon lines of 180s and 185s parked up at Omaka!

Agreed. It was excellent. Reference was made to the possibility of there being 180/185 registered ZK-GOD. For the record, ZK-GOD was applied to Slingsby T.61 Motor Falke on relinquishing its original registration ZK-DOI. When DOI arrived in New Zealand, it was the first motor glider, CAA had not considered it and a few more that followed, should be registered in the ZK-G** glider range. Eventually GOD was revoked and is stored at Drury. What I am proud of is that I was the first person in New Zealand to have a formal training flight in a motor glider. The few flights made the previous day were check flights for instructors. Next morning, Group Captain (Retired) Ces Milne invited me to be his first pupil, even though I had been solo for several years.

Was tempted to enrol and take a few Lars's Cessna models to drum up more business...however I quickly realised I HAVE ENOUGH business with models (including 4 more 180/185s)!!

I couldn't agree more. Michael Holland never fails to impress me. His job would be the envy of many people.

Another Video that cannot be watched from outside NZ. Anyone got any ideas how this can be circumvented?? Have a bit of an interest in the C180/185 as have been flying them since 1962 on wheels and floats. Even signed up to the NZ C180/C185 group but access to this is also a problem. And yes I am not a computer nerd, even get Dave to load my photos onto this website! KS

Those who wish to view from outside NZ can do that via a VPN.

Kev
As Peter says VPN is the way to go.
However, If you are on face book the NZ 180/185 page posted it and it was ok viewing here in HK.
Seemed to work ok on WhatsApp also.
Good luck.
