From 44 to 45 four marine bombing squadrons operated on Emirau, VMB-433 (Forked Tail Devils), VMB-413 (Flying Nightmares), VMB-443 (Wildcats) and VMB-611 (Black Seahorse) under MAG-61. 8 SQN RNZAF flew combined missions with the PBJ’s in 1945, does any know which of the VMB squadrons was involved in these conjoint raids?
