As a new year approaches, feel free to suggest some ideas for people or aviation topics that you think you'd like to hear from or about in 2023 on the Wings Over New Zealand Show.
All sensible and doable suggestions will be considered.

This seems to have been totally overlooked in the WONZ Show section, so I have moved it out to the General Board. Either that, or no-one wants to hear the show again in 2023.

It would be interesting to hear from those who are serving today. 3 Sqn Ops on the NH-90 especially. Also interested to hear about how the AT-6 is going in the RNZAF

Those are certainly topics I could look at in the future, Antonio.

How about say a weekly photo comp, three pic's on your favourite subject, not necesaryly judged on quality, airshows, historic, special interest etc
How it would work, three pic's on the topic, every one gets a week to post their pic's. The topic chooser decides the winner and the winner then chooses the next topic, may have to be fine tuned perhaps four days, a week may be too long?
Lots of topics to choose from, airshows, military, civil, warbirds, ag, single twin or four engines, one type of aeroplane, New Zealand, Australia other countries and many more.

aerodrome / airport reports would be good - say photo's
- photo of hangar row - best plane - worst plane - strip condition - etc - might be interest (might fizzle cause of apathy) - ?

I have only just caught up with some comments on this thread. But I am a bit confused, why are people suggesting photos for an audio show? My question was referring to the WONZ Show podcast series.

How about the experiences of New Zealand aircrew in the Vietnam conflict, for example LT COL Grant Steel, 161 (Independent) Reconnaissance Flight, or the 16 RNZAF pilots who flew with 9 SQN RAAF.

As it happens I am working on a project right now to record the memories of the Kiwis who flew in Vietnam, both as FAC' and helicopter pilots. Watch this space...

As it happens, I'm looking for NZs biggest aviation enthusiast/geek/nerd, for a surprise ending. Some criteria apply. All aviation, not just aircraft. Broad knowledge, more than know a Harvard inside and out. If you know who Nobile, Kalinin and Northrop are you're on the way. Non-political or judgemental. Young enough to continue for a while. Computer competent. Think aircraft, gliders, helicopters, hang gliders, paragliders, engines.
