I would suggest everyone take a look at this scientific research and its findings.

This thread is is carrying on a topic in the thread "Couple of Kiwi Dash 8s across the ditch" and perhaps the two threads should be merged Dave. In that other thread NEE had been rolled out in the All Black livery and there was a discussion that NEJ might be next in line. It is still operating in the blue livery. About 16 April I noticed (on Flight Radar 24) that NEF had flown from Nelson to Blenheim and then was out of service for about two weeks. Is it now in the All Black scheme. After its return to service, about late April, I saw NEG flew Wellington to Blenheim and has not flown since. So, I suspect they are working alphabetically from NEE forward through NEF, NEG, NEH, NEJ NEK and lastly NEO. Has anyone observed NEF this month? Following on from my above post; according to Flight Radar 24, NEF is currently flying NZ8146 from Tauranga to Auckland. I saw a Q300 in the distance and that aircraft is definitely in the new livery. NEG is still out of service so it would seem as if it will be the next one to be so rolled out.
