What is up with him on the WIX Forum? That thread of "should I stay or leave" is getting weirder and weirder..... (oh and tiresome) TNZ

I used to really enjoy his posts, esp the US Navy Aircraft quizzes. I learnt alot about that subject from all of the research I had to do. However lately, the easy-going nature has fallen-off.
Never mind...we're all a big happy family here !! ;D

;D ;D
I wouldn't say we're that big, only a handful of us post regularly. I wish a few more RNZAF fans would turn up (not that I have anything against the ones here already of course. You know what I mean).

Of course I want you here Chris - I didn't mean anything in a negative way. It's people like you taht make this forum great. ;D Maybe we should get Paul Holmes to promote the site on his show - he needs the ratings I hear!! I don't have any other ideas of how to spread the word about the site and forum - have you?

Ive mentioned the forum in my latest Sport Aircraft Association chapter newsletter - I might even put a link on the SAA web page. Mind you, the SAA forums are really slow - about one query a month!

He may not do much for Stearman preservation but he keeps the restoration crews in work!! ;D
I was joking about going to his show by the way. He's a dick and I don't like what the Aussies did to Prime TV when they bought it either. They ruined NZ's best TV network.

Well I actually disagree with you there, Dave as PrimeTV bought MotoGP motorcycle racing and as a former racer and avid motorcyclist, it is HEAVEN !!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and Bruce, both his viewers at once ? ;D

Actually the last few months it has picked its ideas up a bit - finally got live cricket back on real TV during the Aussie matches, but I see they're not covering the current tour though. But the original prime was all excellent British comedies, documentaries and dramas. It sold to the Aussies and all we got for two years was crap Aussie shows that were all soaps, renovation shows, game shows (I occasionally watch 'Who Wants To Be A Dill-on-Air' just to see how thick most people are!!) and rubbish repeats from the olden days. I agree their sports coverage is ok if you are into sport. And they have had a few British dramas and docos lately too. But it pales by comparison in that respect. I used to love watching Time Team and Meet The Ancestors too. We don't get them on any channel now, and TT sometimes covers aviation archeology.

Well channel 53 on Saturn is good for this now, The History Channel. Heaps of WW2 stuff. Must buy a DVD recorder and record some of the shows they put on.
