I'm sure that either Simon or Chris told me that the scale of the Thunder Mustang is a 3/4 scale fuselage with 1/2 scale wings, and I was wondering does that equate in model terms of a 1:48 fuselage mated to 1:72 wings, and if so is it a feasible proposition.   |

I think the wings are 5/8th scale, not 1/2 scale. I could be wrong.
It certainly doesn't work out for 1/48th and 1/72nd combo - I've done the maths on this as I am slowly working on a 1/24th scale Airfix Mustang kit which was partially wrecked by my stupid, stupid brother in the 1970's. It is to get a new lease on life as a Thunder Mustang.
