At 6.59pm tonight, the International Space Station flew over Wellington. There was a bit of cloud-cover but I did get to see it. It was a very bright light travelling very fast. It went from the west horizon to the east horizon in about 2 minutes !!!
Well,I thought it was cool anyway.

Wow. that's quite something. I've never thought about it before, whether you can see it. I have seen satellites in the past, just at dusk on clear autumn nights. they're way cool. You won't have had a chance seeing the ISS here today, very wet and overcast. There was an eclipse today too but no chance of seeing that either. It's been fairly dim light all day here. Luckily I mowed my lawn yesterday.
