Fair enough. I guess they just don't fly....... ;D
I did see the Mustang a few ago though.
BTW I've seen the flying program for the Nowra Airshow
Might actually be worth a visit. Includes Temoras Canberra, Meteor, Vampire, Hornet, Roulettes, usual navy Stuff (squirrels, Sea king Sea hawk) plus more. Kick off is about 11am. $10 per adult, not sure about kids/families
Good to see Temora putting in a show. They never came to other Nowra shows. From what I heard there was an issue with the organisers

Fair enough. I guess they just don't fly....... ;D We might be at cross purposes here - just in case anyone else is confused, the facts are that the RAAF Museum has five active airworthy aircraft - flown by RAAF crews, reserve or current, and the aircraft are RAAF owned and operated machines, albeit civil registered. ( A search on CASA's listing throws them up.) Four of the five (CT-4, Winjeel, Tiger Moth and Mustang) have been flown in the last month, to my certain knowledge cos I see'd 'em, either at Point Cook or also at the Avalon airshow... The Pup isn't currently flying, while the Mustang holds a number of records to do with remaining in Air Force hands from it's delivery up to date...

Pic (apologies for poor quality) of some TFAAM aircraft in the old carport outside "J" Hangar temporarily awaiting return to Museum proper. Phil.

James is the bent Harvard the one that the RNZAF gifted to them years back when the fleet retired? Will it be repaired eventually?

Dave, I believe so, and yes, one day, but I'd suspect it's not a priority, as it's not a core RAAF type. However, that's just my opinion.

Although Apart from the Mustang I haven't seen any of the oters. But then I've never been to point cook. And both visits to Avalon have been on trade days. The RAN historic flight certainly has had certification issues along with a heaps of other problems. However we should(hopefully) see the UH-1B and Tracker flying soon. Not sure about the Firefly though

Looks like a great show! I'd like to be there, but it's a bit far. Looks like Callum will get to see some of the RAAF Museum's flying machines - The Mustang, CT-4 and Winjeel are all down to attend. Incidentally, if it the RAAFM's Mustang - well actually, if it's an airworthy Aussie based Mustang, it's NOT a P-51D (there's one of those here and it's not flying right now) but a CAC Mustang. Aussie pedant point.
