How many books have been written specifally about the Warbird and Vintage aircraft movement in NZ?
I'm thinking in terms of books on individual aircraft, collections, the collectors, the airshows and the museums?
I have in my collection the following:
New Zealand Warbirds - by John King (Century Hutchinson, 1989) basically just about the Ardmore Warbird scene + Sir Tim's Spitfire.
Warbirds Over Wanaka (Gerard S. Morris), (Reed 1994)
Warbirds Over Wanaka 1994 - by anonymous (Shoal Bay Press, 1994)
Warbirds Over Wanaka 1998 - by Ian Brodie (Reed 1998)
Warbirds Over Wanaka 2000 - by Ian Brodie (Reed, 2000)
Warbirds Over Wanaka 2002 - by Ian Brodie (Reed, 2002)
Wanaka Warbirds - by Gerard S. Morris and Warren P. Russell with Sir Tim Wallis (Reed, 1998)
Hurricane Mk IIA - by Ian Brodie (Reed, 2000) about the history and restoration of Hurricane P3351
And of course my new one Hurricane Tim - The Story of Sir Tim Wallis (2005, Longacre Press)
There is also a gorgous book called Classic Aircraft of New Zealand by Alex Mitchell and Stuart Russell. I really want a copy but have not been able to afford one as of yet.
Are there others? Was there a 1996 WoW book?

The John King book is where I got the idea for ours. It had been years since one had appeared on NZ aircraft. The WOW 96 book was done by the Classic Wings team I believe.
If anyone has any ideas etc for vol 2 of Classic Aircraft of New Zealand, let me know.
Alex.......

To add to the WoW books, there's also now the Classic Fighters 2005 Souvenir Edition book: www.classicfighters.co.nz/shop/magazine_05.htmAgain, this has received very good reviews, and almost all who have seen it have heaped praise upon it. :-) Cheers, Allan
