I saw this book in the library the other day - I hadn't seen it before: The Aircraft of Air New Zealand and Affilliates Since 1940By Paul Sheehan Published by Transpress NZ Ltd in 2003 This is a great book, lots of photos, b&w and coloured. And lots of info too. I only had a quick flik through it, but the photo that impressed me most was a 1948 picture of the Empire flying boat ZK-AMA preserved after it's service days as a tearooms. I so wish it was kept like that, it was in very good condition in the photo, looked servicable actually, except it was on dry land and had gardens around it. You can check out more on the publisher here www.transpressnz.com/And the book itself here www.transpressnz.com/AirNZAircraft.htmlA must have for Kiwi airline enthusiasts - it covers all the smaller Air NZ airlines from Mt Cook to NAC to Freedom, etc. too.
