I saw this book come up on TradeMe this week, one I hadn't heard of before. Apparently it's the autobiography of a Hudson and Ventura pilot in the RNZAF in WWII.
Of course as this is my major interest, I really want the book, and i bid when iut was at $29. But this afternoon two bidders have gone at it hammer and tongs with their bidding and wiped me out of the market. It's currently on $81.00!
So what i wondered is, does anyone out there have this book? if so, is it any goosd? Is it worth bidding so high for?
Does anyone know where Mr Jim Tocker lives (if he's still alive?). I'd like to contact him in regards to my research.
Thanks.

Dave
Sorry I have taken a while to respond.
I have a copy of the book, and I enjoyed reading it. This is a very rear book, and you are lucky to get one, so $82 is well worth it.
As far as I know Jim Tocker is still alive, his address in the book is listed 73 Garden Road Christchurch. If you can't get a hold of him get back to me, and I will give you the email address of someone who knows him.
