I have just watched King Kong on DVD, and this was the first time I have seen the film.
I was so impressed by this movie, it's simply brilliant. It lives up to the hype and praise heaped on it easily.
The Helldiver aircraft were wonderful, even though I'd seen the clip over and over the full sequence was really neat. I think it was very realisticly portrayed too, flying-wise.
Does anyone know what engine sounds were used to dub into the film? Were they from a plane that actually has the same engine as the Helldiver?
Another question, does anyone know whether other items from the film will go into the new Omaka museum, like some of the cars, or anything? They must have had a certain amount of real cars and army vehicles, they were not all cgi.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong....but..
I think the engine sounds used were the SVAS Harvard based at Masterton..
