Colin, I knew I could rely on you to come up with a photo of QANTAS' wet-leased 767 freighter! ;D Read about it in the latest Australian Aviation, so was curious as to what it looked like. Cheers.

That Spanish aeroplane, is that an A300 or A310? It landed at Wellington yesterday morning, it was much larger than the usual arrivals so it caught my eye. Pity I was driving and couldn't take a photo.

Pity I was driving and couldn't take a photo. If your about WLG on Wednesday I assume it will leave there for Australia so you might get a photo op then? Craig (Corsair67) you might catch it at an airport near you when it arrives? Cheers

767 looks great with winglets....much better than 757 with winglets.

The winglets actually make the 767 look modern and stylish. Is this somthing they can do to the old 737's as well?

BBJ's all come with winglets as standard. 737 NGs generally all have them installed. The only 737 classics I know of with winglets are some of Southwests 737 300's. With their smaller engines and tail, I think the 300 looks a little odd with winglets.
American, LAN, Austrian and others are all putting winglets on their 767's

Would be a good idea if they are usung it on long sectors. Certainly noticed an increase in the use of 757 by Continental, US Airways into Heathrow with winglet 757's

A6-EDE taking off after sunset yesterday. A6-EDA taxing after landing on 05R. The close up shot is a cropped version of the other one to sort of look like a face? ;D Note the reflections of the engines? Colin

Awesome photos Colin, that sunset landing shot is really nice.
The other shot makes it look like a prop facing off in a scrum, real attitude.

I took a photo of that A380 that same day landing Colin, Ill post it at a later date. The face, well, he looks a little both dopey and angry to me.

Lovely shots, Colin. Is that Vietnam Airlines B777 not a regular visitor to NZ?
